I am the3rd owner of this car and i have taken great care of it as well as have all the service records from the previousowners as well. The car has a nicely rebuilt 4. 2 liter engine. Recently the carbs were rebuilt the vehicle drivesand idles as it should. There are no leaks of any kind on the car. The interior is nice original condition.

She is an excellent example of the famous xke. The tires are great, it runs and drives very well, the shock absorbers and wheel alignment are great as well and full syncromesh gear box. This midwest original car has the original sheetmetal that is super straight all the way around the car, all body panels are perfectly aligned & the signal redpaint is absolutely gorgeous ! All the chrome & stainless trim is in show quality condition. She has the perfect stance while sitting on a newset of vintage style wire wheels wrapped with new coker red line tires. All the gauges are original to the car and in working order. Theradio and speakers are after market and sound great, other than that the car is 100% original and correct. The original set of zenith-stromberg carburetorswhich are quite troublesome were replaced with a seth of 3 new weber carburetors which have made things 100%better, the original carburetors and air breathers will go with the car! This is a drive-able show winning carwith no headaches !

This a completely restored vehicle, 1966 jaguar series one 4. 2 litre xke roadster, date of manufacture dec. 6th,1965owned for 27 years, original mileage is 62,487, 1,020 miles on rebuilt engine,(stock, 9 to 1 compression). Allnumbers match on this xke, jaguar heritage trust certificate # 44876. Always garaged, rust was never a concern with this jaguar. Time to sell due to age and health. I wanted to cast a race look of the famous "d" type jaguar race car on this xke, rather than a stock appearance,while keeping the engine stock. Here is what was done,bumpers were removed, the originals have been re chromed and are included in this sale,side stainless steel exhaust and ss header replaced the stock rear exhaust, the stock is included in sale,front directional lights are now under the glass of the head light like the "d" type,wire wheels have been replaced with the"d" type dunlap race wheels, with tri bar knock offs (5), a cost of $3,500. Removal of the front grille motif bar, also included in sale. Removal of the heater box, since i only drove this xke in warm weather, radio and radio console ( it is newlyupholstered), also have been merely removed, several period radios are included in sale. Here are a few of the things that have been restored or replace with new parts,all brake calipers have been s. Lined, provided by white post restoration,all interior in replaced by original quality provided by gw bartlett co.,tires are michelin p 215/60r15,new wind shield glass,paint is dupont chroma system g9900s, super jet black,gauges rebuilt by nisonger instrumentsthere are many boxes of parts, california car cover, work shop and drivers manuals, that are included, oil andfilter service was just done last month. * there is a fine crack 1" in the paint about the wheel well on thedrivers rear side, and another 1/2 fine crack on the bonnet near the firewall. The changes made in the body appearance to give this xke a "d" type race look was undertaken, so that it could beput back to the original look with very little effort and with no body modifications needed. It is now kept inside in a climate controlled, environment. This car, has had some major restoration work done ... And some high-performance improvements were also made! This work was done in 2006, by the previous owner (canada). A five (5)-speed transmission an electric cooling fan, with an aluminum radiator a light-weighted fiberglass bonnet has been added. Plus, two late model seats were also added. I am not sure about the car's history, but the motor has jaguar 5-2-64, stamped in raised letters on the motor'sblock. Present condition:there are no scratches no dents or rust, on the paint chrome, or the wire wheels... Drives even greater! I believe that i am the third owner, the mileage was 27,545 when i bought the car... That was almost 5 years ago. It has 27, 561 miles now. The car has been kept inside, in a climate controlled environmentadditional work has been done this year: (all original factory parts were used to replace older parts). From january to march of 2016 the following new parts were replaced: new water pump harmonic balance controller, seats and carpet were removed to repair small rust places in the rear, floor-pan. Both rear stabilizing bars were replaced, new battery the 3-su carburetors were tuned! All work was done by mechanics that work on and restore british cars. Lubrication and all fluids have been topped up. (5) tires, look new but they have been on the car a long time. If there are any other conditions that need attention, i am not aware of them.

Brand new convertible top as well hard wear. Dashboard solid no tears. Interior in great condition. Brand new center console. The lower rear underside pan is excellent damage free. 4. 2 liter inline dual overhead camshaft six-cylinder. 4-speed manual transmission and correct jaguar differential. The drive train has been overall rebuilt. Zenith carburetors have been replaced with triple weber carburetors. Brand new fuel pump. Stainless steel exhaust brand new shocks. Choke works perfectly. After warming up, car drives like a bullet shoots straight. All lights and signals work perfect. Wipers horn as well. This jaguar don't claim to perfection. But it's one of the few ones out there that is in true great condition. No worries attached. I am going to replace the tires. Car comes with car cover.

The matching numbers example offered here is a handsome example of the british manufacturer’s commitment to excellence in engineering and design. This 1964 series i jaguar xke 3. 8 roadster is in excellent condition. Restored in 1990, this matching numbers example comes with it's original tool kit and knock off hammer. The car has been well cared for and as long as i've owned it has never seen bad weather. I've enjoyed driving the weekends and amazed by the attention it brings. All vehicle components are fully operational, mechanically and aesthetically. All chrome is in excellent condition. All electrical including interior and exterior lighting and dash panel lighting are in fully functioning condition. The new owner will be proud to pull up in this fine automobile and to me i believe the design of this car is second to none. A thing of beauty driving down the road or parked.
