The original 4. 2 liter engine was replaced with a completely rebuilt ford 289 engine, custom headers and exhaust system, msd fuel injection, vintage air, custom dash, epic wheels, and much more. Original jaguar body, subframe, torsion bar suspension, and rear end are intact and unmolested. Extremely reliable and simple to maintain, this car turns heads wherever it goes. Always stored indoors, paint is like new and engine bay is show quality.

1969 jaguar e-type coupe numbers matching car in very nice condition. I have had the carbs rebuilt as well as thebraking system. The car has had all new hoses that were replaced as well clutch, slave, and master cylinder. Thesuspension has been gone through as well. The car idles well and drives as it should there are no leaks from theengine or transmission. The interior is in nice shape with no rips or tears anywhere. The car has no rust at allbeing its whole life in los angeles. The chrome is all new on the car including new rubber and seals throughout. The glass is in very nice condition as well with no hazing or cracks at all/ i purchased new headlight chrome trimbut have yet to install as well as front turn signal lights. I have owned numerous jag e-types over the years andthis is one of the most solid bodied ones i have ever owned. I only purchase the best of the best when it comes tojag's don't miss out on a very nice original coupe. I have attached numerous photos of the car.

Original numbers matching coupe, not a 2plus 2. I’ve owned the jaguar for 7 years, having purchased it from a gentleman in colorado who had owned it formany years and took obvious pride in the car. He only sold it because he was getting on in years. First, there isno rust on the jaguar visible anywhere. The previous owner had reputedly rebuilt the engine, although i have noreceipts to confirm; just a few pictures of the fresh engine on a stand prior to installation. The car wasoriginally a robin’s egg blue color which can still be seen in the spare tire wheel well and behind the dash. The previous owner had the xke re-sprayed old english white. I’d estimate the paint is at least 10 years old. Most of the chips in the paint finish arealong the leading edges of the bonnet and doors which i have touched up. The engine has remainedin stellar working order. It is quiet, never runs hot, is very powerful and uses little to no oil. (it does dripsome oil at rest but nothing out of the ordinary.) the gearbox is excellent and all mechanical and electricalsystems function as they should with the exception of the clock and original radio which works but doesn’t soundall that great. I have receipts for thousands of dollars of work carried out since i’ve owned the car. Thesmaller jobs and strict routine maintenance, i’ve done myself. The more involved repairs were entrusted to thepreeminent independent jaguar repair facility in this region. These include a new clutch, pressure plate andrelease bearing, new cooling fan motors, front and rear brake rebuild, complete front end rebuild, gas tank cleanedand sealed, new drive shaft u-joints, reconditioned speedo and many more jobs carried out to keep the car in topdriving condition. I purchased thetires several years back; they have perhaps 5000 miles and look like new. I’ve also replaced the seat bottomsupports and foam, but re-used the original leather seat covers which are in remarkable shape for their age. Air Conditioning

The car was an immediate sensation: itsspecification was state of the art, its bodywork arrestingly gorgeous, and the price surprisingly affordable. The cars were continuouslydeveloped, however, the arrival of the twelve cylinder engine changed the cars character irreversibly. The seriesii cars featured a host of changes to modernize the car, including larger lights and many changes introduced on theseries 1. 5 cars including stromberg carburetors and safer interiors. While lacking the purity of the early cars,they provide substantially the same experience and are dramatically less expensive, generally about half the priceof a comparable series i. This particular xke it has been maintained with no expense spared by its current owner with most servicesoccurring at british motor specialist . The car has received careful service. The thoroughness of the care isevident,the cars striking paintwork remain in good condition and show well. The paintwork is generally free of scratches. The car was repainted in a portion of the nose, other than that car still in original paint. The paint presentsstrongly overall with a few small blemishes and the occasional chip. Overall, the chrome on the car is good. Glassin the car is good overall and appears to be original. The overall cosmetic impression of the car is strong andthese small blemishes are only evident upon close inspection. The cars interior is still very soft and supple and is correct in appearance. The dash top appears in like newcondition and is excellent, as are the carpets. The balance of the interior appears to be original and is correctlypresented and in very good shape. The switches and instruments are in very good condition as well. The cars woodenwheel and shifter appear original and show some wear to the varnish. The engine of the car is clean and shows well, showing much evidence of recent maintenance and originality. Thewiring is tidy and an aftermarket aluminum radiator has been installed to improve the everyday drivability andusability of the car. The remainder of the engine compartment is tidy and quite clean for a driver level streetcar. Behind the wheel, this e-type is a pleasure. The engine displays good oil pressure, with fifty pounds indicated atidle when warm. The cooling system maintains proper temperature thanks to the additional cooling capacity from thealuminum radiator. The car is generally fantastically smooth in operation. The transmission is in good order withsmooth synchronizers and the correct amount of clutch free-play. The engine pulls strongly and smoothly to redlinewithout misses. The brakes stop well and straight with no pulsation. Overall, the car drives nicely in keeping withits status as a clean and well-maintained 34,000 mile vehicle.
