2000 lotus esprit – v8 twin turbo excellent 2000 lotus esprit v8 twin turbo. The car is in full working order without any issues. The car has 32,xxx miles on it. The only item on the car that needs attention is the windshield washer sprayer. In the last year the car has had: both headlight motors overhauled new sumitomo tires all the way aroundall fluids flushed and changed: oil, coolant, breaks and gearboxrear wheel bearingnew batterythe car had a “c” service 10k miles ago. (full belt change) however will need another shortly due to the time interval on the last service. These service records outlining this service are included. The car runs and drives great. The clutch and gearbox shift smoothly and operate as they should. The a/c blows cold and all the lights on the car are operational. This 2005 elise is one of only 5 or 6 in the us in this factory bronze color. It is in excellent condition andafter a recent major service, is ready for months of carefree, summer driving. It comes with air conditioning, which generally won't be needed when either the removable hard top or the soft top(also comes with the car) are removed. The exterior is very clean and has only one or two minor rock chips. Thereis a clear protective film covering the nose of the car for additional protection. The major service was done last year and the car has been driven very little since (i drive it a couple of milesonce every month or so to keep the battery changed and to keep the all mechanicals in good shape). Here is what was done during the service: new front rotors and pads brake fluid system flush engine oil change gearbox oil change coolant system flush clutch fluid change underside panels all removed and inspection of all fasteners/bolts etc. Completed sector 111 toe link kit installed (stronger than stock and a safety upgrade) new rear tires new green air filterextras: forged light weight wheels spa oil pressure/temp gauge as well as intake air temp and vacuum gauge in aluminium mount sector 111 engine mount quicksilver stainless muffler infinity speakers seatbelt lock factory leather interior door sill pocketsthe only item i never got around to was repairing a scratch on the steering wheel (pictured). Therefore, it's ready to be driven so needs to go to a new home and be used during the summer - it wasn't built bylotus to be one of the best handling cars of its era, so it could just sit in my garage. Background: the lotus evora s is a significant upgrade to the already great standard evora, bumping hp from 276 inthe standard car to 345 via a 5. 5 psi supercharger added to the 3. 5l v6. Other s upgrades include an improvedshift linkage for the six speed manual, more aggressive exterior styling, and suspension upgrades. The s alsoincludes optional base evora packages as standard, including the sport suspension and sport gearbox. Performancefrom the evora s matches the exotic styling, as the 3171 lb lightweight sports car will do 0-60 in 4. 3 seconds andpull 0. 98 g on the skid pad. The driving experience is pure lotus, agile and responsive without being harsh. Thelarini exhaust provides an exotic sound track without being obnoxious, a perfect fit for the car. Unlike its morehardcore brothers the elise and exige, the evora is equally capable of being a track toy or a daily driver. Options:technology package – navigation, rear view cameraaudio package – upgraded audio speakerspaint protection filmspecial order paintupgraded wheelsexterior: absolutely incredible condition outside. Per the description when buying the car, this may be the onlyevora with a bordeau red exterior as it was special ordered by the original owner and not found on the standardcolor list. Regardless it is certainly rare and an absolutely stunning color, the pictures do not do the depth andrichness of the color justice. Extensively detailed and nearly flawless, the car has a clean accident history andoriginal paint. Forged alloy wheels are in like new condition without curbing or other damage, and wear michelinpilot super sport tires with like new tread. Original and excellent condition glass without visible wear. Theonly exterior flaw of note is light scuffing on the underside of the front bumper lower lip, which is not visibleunless the car is on a lift. Interior: as new condition inside. Flawless without any stains, tears, wear, damage, pets, or smoking. Theupgraded audio, navigation, and rear view camera are worthwhile optional upgrades to the standard evora audiosystem. All features work flawlessly, with ice cold a/c, hot heat, cruise control, power windows/locks/mirrors,etc. The rear seats were upgraded to leather seats from another evora, so they are a perfect match to the leatherfront buckets. Very light scuffing on the driver’s side recaro outer bolster is the only flaw. The rear seatsare in like new condition, and while small are usable for children or a short drive in a pinch. The cockpit isoverall a very comfortable place to spend time, driver oriented and high quality. Mechanical: again, as new condition. Finally the upgradedsupercharged 3. 5l v6 belies its toyota beginnings with smooth linear power, responsive from all rpm levels, and anexotic sound with the supercharger undertone. The exhaust also provides an incredible sound with an amazing howlat higher rpm levels, but still mellow at lower rpms. The clutch reservoir has been upgraded to a wilwood unit toimprove feel and reduce fade when hot. This lotus drives exactly a. This car is #11 of 30 made and is very rare and sought after. 2001 lotus esprit gt twin turbo v8. This is getting to be a very rare car, in fact in 1999 to2001 there were only 204 of them manufactured, and only 60 from 2001 with the round tail lights. This is no normal lotus esprit... This esprit has been rebuilt with racing components to a level at which is trulybreathtaking. The owner wanted it fast. The engine has been rebuilt once with forged pistons, large 100cc racing injectors andupgraded turbos all at a cost of more than $25000. But it was not fast enough. Then it was rebuilt again, 800 miles later, with even more upgrades, including aps head bolts, upgraded cams formore low end torque, upgraded ems, ecu and more powerful fuel pump. Since the second rebuild (less than 100 miles ago), the owner has suffered an injury from a car accident and can nolonger drive a 5 speed manual vehicle so sadly this must go. This lotus esprit makes more than 550 bhp at the rear wheels. With a curb weight of 3000 pounds that means thiscar is a ferrari, lamborghini and z06 killer in the 0-60, 0-100 and on any race track. This lotus esprit has a rear camera to make it easy to reverse, the radio has a remote control, navigation systemand hard drive for mp3 and video files. The interior is in good shape and features led lighting, with led projectors under each door with the lotus logo. Currently the rear wing has been removed however it is included in the sale and can be installed at no cost if thenew owner wishes it so. Mileage is an estimate, will update when available. The owner is a lotus owners group member and has had 4 lotus esprit cars so he is very well versed in the way theyoperate and is meticulous about the maintenance on these cars. Navigation System
